Two remarks for these upcoming elections :
1- what a shame Netanyahu cannot put aside his ego to work with Saar and Bennet. The majority of israelis now plan to vote for a religious-friendly right-wing party.
2- several small parties (Labor, Gesher, Telem, Bayit Yehudi, Zelekha, Shelakh etc) might merge with others before the end of the month to pass the threshold. Small impacts that could lead to one camp being able to form a majority.
1- What a shame Saar and Bennet can’t put aside their ego to work with Netanyahu. They put the whole right wing government at stake. Bennet didnt even pass the threshold a year and a half ago, now he thinks he can be prime minister?!? Saar is a popular candidate but he can easily have a honorable position in a Netanyahu government and when Netanyahu leaves, can run for PM.
2- Agreed. It’s a bit scary. Hopefully their ego’s hold sway 🙂
Agree with all the comments above, just add a couple of points, I don’t see Shas losing seats and one would think that the joint list would do better. Can anyone think of a reason why the joint list would lose so many seats
I did not mean to write that Bennet and Saar were innocents ! 🙂
But you cannot deny that Netanyahu managed to create alternative parties with whoever worked with or under him : Bennet, Shaked, Liberman, Sa’ar, Feiglin… He really looks like the talented but impossible manager to work with.
The vaccination % aligns with the official one at least….
