Why do the parties with less than 1% even bother? They might as well drop out and hope their votes go to a party who might mop up an extra knesset seat.
Indeed – 6 or 7 seats wasted, and those small parties (usually the remnants of previous up-starts and spin offs etc) don’t seem to bring much to the table
All i can think is that some of them are just jockeying to be scooped up by bigger parties. e.g this Zekaria chap hasn’t got a hope in hell of getting elected but is angling for a higher position in Likud, New Hope, Yesh Atid or anyone who will have him!
Where did four of the joint list’s go? That’s over 25%

What i cant understand is why there is no religious zionist party. If Smotrich would join with (Bayit Yehudi) Peretz and Otzma they would at least pass the threshhold. Why do they stick with Bennet who uses them time after time…
the three religious nationalist parties would have a hard time passing the threshhold
regardless smotrich and peretz had some personal issues last time around
and otzma is infamous for making issuse for the party with ill timed stupid comments
