*Note: Blue & White will be officially dismantled next week and at that time it will be clear how many MKs are on each side of the split.
Some questions:
Does it look like Orly Levy will join the coalition and if so will she stay independent?
Also is it looking like Hendel and Hauser will split from Telem?
Will Labor be joining the coalition?
Ask again later
Yes for all questions apparently. Finally we have a government.
YAY!
Mazal Tov to Bibi, Benny, and all of Israel!
I think once will suffice Victor, thanks. I was hoping Jeremy had some insight into the developments.
Does anyone doubt Netanyahu will be able to split Blue and White again and secure a majority without Gantz? With the 2 Telem defections, he’s already at 60. He has 18 months to play chess while these others are playing checkers.
Netanyahu is on his way out. He just wants to leave like a Mentch. That means not playing shtik with Gantz. I think things will be pretty smooth until Netanyahu steps down and leaves politics (ok, he’ll never leave, but he won’t be official). After that, you can probably expect new elections after the first big internal fight.
