once again we understand, maneuvering aside, why no one is rushing to new elections. Even Bennett may realize that momentum can change in a matter of weeks; a unified Arab list can add 3-4 seats; and where Kachalon draws support is still not perfectly clear. ironically the more diplomatic issues take a backburner the more the center including Kachalon benefit. The right needs Kerry to keep negotiations on the table and give them a whipping boy. BY has no other catalyzing issue beyond attacking a 2 state solution.
I would on the other hand say that, when thinking about a potential Kachalon-party and united arab list in the future neither of which still exist and may not for some time (1-2 months?), it would be better to have elections as fast as possible to preemptively “strike” Kachalon and arab parties and keep elections before these new parties have been created and organized.
Interesting how small the difference between Likud and BY is.
