Panels Poll questions broadcast on Knesset Channel March 20 2014
Are you pleased or not pleased with the party you voted for in the 2013 election?
Likud Beitenu voters: 61% pleased, 28% not pleased.
Yesh Atid voters: 25% pleased, 75% not pleased.
Labor voters: 64% pleased, 36% not pleased.
Bayit Yehudi voters: 71% pleased, 29% not pleased.
Which subject should the next Knesset session focus on?
70% Cost of living, 18% negotiations with Palestinians, 8% Iranian threat, 1% Jewish conversion issue
Seems like Bennett is doing the best job among party leaders, especially when Bayit Yehudi just now iis going through a process of change and reconstruction (secular part growing) and the fact that the party has tended to be kind of narrowly sector-based. This just proves how “constructive” Bennett is in nature.
Menachem Lazar of Panels said on the broadcast that Bennett is doing the best job among party leaders and that his voters have constantly been behind him and his new ways.
This poll also shows you why Lapid will lose to Kachalon a lot of votes. Some people are still answering Lapid in polls because they don’t like the other options but if you give them another option they will run to it.
Well, if Kachlon would take away votes from Likud Beiteinu, i do not want him to run. But would he really run against Netanyahu? Did their relationship be quite ok?
Their relationship is not ok these days, or so it has been reported… 😉
Some polls show Kachalon actually takes away more from center-left than Likud Beitenu.
well, then he can gladly run a party on his own, if Labor, Yesh atid drops who cares (on the right).
I said some polls show that he takes more from the center-left, other polls disagree.
Jeremy, is Kachalon for a two-state solution (I would guess so).
In the past Kachalon has been against a two-state-solution. Who knows where he stands today.
Yeh, he is probably one of those coat-swinging types…
(Rhetorical question) Why didn’t they ask Shas voters?
Ye, that is an interesting question. Would also be interesting to see the numbers for Hatnua (how many Livni-voters are disappointed that she “lets” Netanyahu decide how the negotiations are done).
Then of course there are parties for which the corresponding numbers wold be of no bigger general interest, such as UTJ, arab parties and Meretz (approve: probably almost 100%) and Kadima (a small stupid party that does not mean anything anymore).
I don’t see a scenario where Livni Party runs again in next elections in current format. It is a collection of six MKs who have very little to do with each other. Few pollsters see a reason to poll their voters. Same goes for Kadima…
let’s at least hope that Livni personally leaves politics (again!).
That is always possible.
That is the least she can do after she has “unfortunately let the historic peace slip out of her fingers because of the crazy right-winger” (in that way a hardcore left-winger would probably think)…
Although it is rhetorical..
Shas recent history: 2003 – 11 seats, 2006 – 12 seats, 2009 – 11 seats, 2013 – 11 seats.
With such steady numbers over the last decade, very few pollsters saw a reason to poll their thoughts…
It’s odd not to poll Shas voters right now since they’ve had 3 major events in the last year- the death of Rabbi Yosef Ovadia, the return of Aryeh Deri, and the Draft Law. Picking their brains would be fascinating.
You poll them after the split happens, why would you poll them now? Yishai and Dery are free to use the polling companies services privately, but no media/press is going to spend their money on this one. Besides, we all know they prefer Yishai, that has been polled.
Hi, is it possible to provide a link to the poll results as released by Panels, if you have it? Doesn’t matter if in Hebrew
Hi Jacob, Panels does not release the results online.
Knesset Channel does not usually release results of any of their polls, even if they use a different company.
This issue comes up a lot in comments, where people want to see a link.
Part of the reason that I started to document all of the polls online is because a lot of polls do not have links.
Many publications such as Times of Israel and Wikipedia just quote KnessetJeremy and give me credit.
