Dialog conducted a poll that was published by Haaretz on August 28th 2014.
Current Knesset seats in [brackets]
26 [19] Likud
17 [12] Bayit Yehudi
14 [15] Labor
12 [19] Yesh Atid
11 [12] Yisrael Beitenu
08 [07] Yahadut Hatorah/UTJ
07 [11] Shas
07 [06] Meretz
06 [04] Hadash
04 [06] Movement
04 [04] Ra’am-Ta’al
04 [03] Balad
00 [02] Kadima
69 [61] Right-Religious
51 [59] Center-Left-Arab
Note: This poll was conducted according to new 3.25% threshold.
* Reminder: MK Shama (Likud) resignation has lowered Likud from 20 seats to 19 seats. MK Miller (Yisrael Beitenu) who took the seat raises his party from 11 seats to 12 seats.
Why are the polls still done with the old 2% threshold – which is no longer relevant?
Why cant poll be done with the new 3.25% threshold? Wouldn’t it then give us a more correct picture?
thanks
Hi Danny – my mistake. It was conducted with new 3.25% threshold & i edited the post to reflect that. The third poll coming out tomorrow will also have 3.25% threshold.
Thank you
I appreciate your blog and your twitter
I will also take this opportunity to say thank you for your 25+ days serving the nation.
Your welcome & Thank you.
interesting to see the arab parties all rise above the higher threshold – on the expense of the Left. Meretz down to 7…
Jeremy, do you think that Bayit Yehudi’s rise to 16-19 seats will hold on after the war-feeling goes away?
That is interesting. I don’t recall seeing Hadash with 6 seats ever.
I think Bayit Yehudi’s numbers will stay steady in the next month or so. The makeup of the list & how the merger with Uri Ariel’s Tekuma Party are among the many issue that will impact Bayit Yehudi’s final seat count.
