Wait, was this poll taken before Olmert endorsed Kadima? I can’t imagine that didn’t result in a huge jump in the polls for them.
btw, I thought Livni was now calling her party ‘The Tzipi Livini Party’ in English because too many people were making doodoo jokes about ‘The Movement’.
It is not clear if it was taken yesterday or last night.
Livni might have told Gil Hoffman that she is calling her party the “Tzippi Livni Party”, but she didn’t tell that to me or to anyone else that I know of. I’ll change her name (or other party names) if the list she (or they) present to the Elections Committee is different from the name/s I’m using now. I don’t mean to disrespect Livni but everyone is calling it “the Movement”.
I was being sarcastic about Olmert’s endorsement causing a jump in the polls, just in case that wasn’t clear. There was some article I read in the Jerusalem Post about Livni realizing that she should not call her new party ‘the movement’ in English, but I can’t find it now.
Ah, I found the article, but it’s the same thing you are referencing as it’s written by Gil Hoffman.
I talked to people who said they expect Kadima to get a temporary 2-3 seat buzz from Olmert. I don’t see it, but everyone is entitled to their opinion 🙂
I read the JPost piece, besides them every other media outlet is calling them The Movement or HaTnuah. I do love the JPost, but I’m going to take the mainstreams lead here.
