Quick Take: This week’s average shows Likud Beitenu and Labor position similar to last week. Shas gains and takes the third position while Lapid’s Yesh Atid drops and falls into the fourth position. Hadash passes Meretz, while Kadima and Independence pick up gains. Am Shalem is also picking up steam. The right block gains ground this week with the help of Shas and Am Shalem’s gains.

Do you know what polls tell about the possibility that Peres may decide to lead the centre-left bloc?
I’ve heard of private polls that help the left is Peres leads or is part of new left block.
Thanx for putting this together. General question: How do you define Center. Isn’t center a relative term, that really should mean relative to the electorate? By definition, shouldn’t the block that includes the center be called the center. Isn’t it a mathematical impossibility for 60% of the electorate to be right of center? Shouldn’t the right block be called center-right and the 40% just be called left? I know this isn’t a question just for you, the media has been doing this for decades, and continues to do it now. Isn’t it wrong, though? Isn’t it deliberate dishonesty to refer to the center as the center relative to me? [I don’t mean to be attacking you, I don’t know or care where you stand, I’m attacking the people that made this the standard vernacular. Thanks]
