The Knesset took a nice long passover vacation beginning March 31 and ending with their return this Monday, May 16. Due to the birth of my daughter I did not have time to blog on the last five days of the winter recess, but rest assured that Knesset Jeremy will return with the start of the summer session on Monday. The Knesset did meet for two special plenary sessions during the 46-day recess, on April 27 and May 11. Ten motions were discussed over the two sessions, and no legislative activity occurred. There were also a small number of committee meetings in a few selected Knesset committees during the break.
