I had a feeling that Zehut would rise as it got closer to the election. They could wind up in quite an interesting situation if they are the second largest party in the coalition (well, not counting UTJ since they won’t accept a ministry). Do you think that they could plausibly get the Finance Ministry, which seems to be tops on their ‘get’ list?
What is interesting, it is that Finance Ministry is the most cursed one. Thanks to this Ministry, Kulanu dropped from 10 to 4. Feiglin should be very confident to ask for it. If he succeeds though, he will easily double the number of his mandates next elections.
If they give it to Gilad Alper, I have a feeling that he would do a fantastic job.
I wouldn’t believe the breakdown of the seats for any of the parties between 4- 7 seats, there are too many smaller parties for the pollsters to define a proper voters sample, it is guaranteed o be wrong.
Watch this space. This is getting very interesting. Who ever would have predicted that Zehut will be the kingmakers. IMHO after the elections everyone will panic and this will result in a coalition of the Likud and B&W to form the next government. It remains to be seen who of the rest of the right and religious will join.
